Calculus Within the Common Bile Duct Causing Biliary ObstructionClinical HistoryA 49-year old man presented with abdominal pain.Case DescriptionAn abdominal ultrasound was done using a 2 – 5 MHz curvilinear transducer. This revealed multiple calculus within the common bile duct and another calculus within the lumen of the collapsed gallbladder. These findings were also confirmed on MRCP done afterwards. The pancreatic tail is partly obscured by bowel gas shadowing. A short segment of the left hepatic lobe and duodenum are displayed anterior to the pancreas. No pancreatic duct dilatationAn obstructive calculus in the common bile duct.
